At the beginning of the year we will have a tailored conversation with your team to create a partnership that fits your business, your people and your goals. Together, we’ll identify opportunities to maximise your fundraising, engage your team and makes a real difference to patients, families and staff here at Musgrove.

What could your year of fundraising include?

There are lots of ways to get your team involved, including:

• Fundraising events – from office quizzes and charity balls to family fun days and seasonal activities. Check out our 50 fundraising ideas here.
• Retail and staff collections – give colleagues and customers an easy way to support Love Musgrove.
• Team challenges – take on one of our fundraising challenges and get your colleagues working together for a great cause.
• Employee-led fundraising – encourage your team to come up with their own ideas and turn their passions into fundraising opportunities.
• Corporate giving and matched fundraising – amplify your impact by making a donation or matching what your team raises.

Event Sponsorship

Support an event and make a bigger impact

We host a wide range of fundraising events throughout the year in support of Musgrove Park Hospital each year. Corporate sponsorship (both financial or otherwise) is vital to help these events run and raise as much money as possible. Sponsorship can help cover event costs, provide prizes or be tailored to your business.

Cause Related Marketing (CRM)

Put your products or brand behind a good cause

Research by ‘Business in the Community’ has shown that 86% of consumers are more likely to buy a product that is associated with a cause. They also found that 73% of consumers would switch brands because of it.

Some examples of potential CRMs:

• Proceeds of a hot drink going towards Musgrove on the day of the NHS Big Tea (5th July)

• For every 10 blankets bought, one will be donated to Musgrove’s Maternity Department

Corporate Donations

A one-off donation, regular gift or donation of goods and services can make a real difference.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving allows your staff to make regular contributions to Love Musgrove. Not only is it a simple way to support the Charity, but a contribution through your payroll is also the most effective way to donate, because donations are deducted before you pay tax.

Strategic Partnerships

Every year Musgrove Park Hospital treats over 450,000 patients for a huge variety of reasons, and it takes a huge amount of work to keep the place running. Because of the sheer size of the place, there are plenty of projects we support that may have a link with your company that would benefit from strategic support.

Some examples of where we have created a partnership based on business topic:

• Working with local garden centres to raise funds and support the Hospital’s gardens
• Nurseries fundraising to support the Children’s Department
• Bike Shop giving support to our Annual Cycle Event
