A message from Our Charity Chair
Dear Supporter,
It gives me great pleasure to be officially marking the 25th anniversary of charitable giving here at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Thanks to all those who have supported the charity over the past 25 years; without your support we wouldn’t have been able to make the impact across Somerset that we have been able to.
We have celebrated many fundraising successes at Musgrove Park Hospital, with Love Musgrove doing incredible work to introduce a third MRI Scanner, improve our Maternity Unit and fund equipment, and now we have an opportunity to expand our reach and impact right across our NHS Trust’s work throughout Somerset.
To mark this special milestone, we have put together a varied and exciting list of projects that your donations will support over the course of 2022. These projects will have a significant impact right around the county, and we’re thrilled to get going!
From equipment to support stroke rehabilitation patients in Williton and South Petherton to improving the environment of the Trust’s Hydrotherapy Pool for physiotherapy patients, these projects support community hospitals, mental health, disability and community services.
Hopefully you have had the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the great projects we are fundraising for over 2022, along with some of the highlights of the past 25 years. Keep an eye out for some of the exciting events we have taking place over the next year as well as how you can help us continue to make a difference to patients, their families and carers and our colleagues.
