Our Charity Wingwalk
Have you ever fancied being strapped securely to the top wing of an authentic vintage Boeing Stearman biplane? If so, then a wing walking experience is perfect for you!
We are delighted to be partnered with The Wing Walk Company based at: Henstridge Airfield, Henstridge Marsh, Templecombe BA8 0TN.
They are a family run business with father and son duo as Chief & Deputy Chief Pilot, whilst Maggie and Maeve work behind the scenes on our bookings, charity days, marketing and accounts.
The rest of the team are all aviation enthusiasts & highly qualified pilots; many of whom have known our family for over 20 years. Wing Walk with us & we promise to make you feel safe, with a viewing spot for your family & friends directly in front of the aeroplane & most importantly the flight of your life!
Event details
We have a limited number of places available on our exhilarating Charity Wing Walk experience taking place on Sunday 31st May 2026 (weather permitting).
Registration is £100 and a minimum of £550 in sponsorship. Please note your registration fee is non-refundable.
Who can do it?
- You must be at least 18 years old. If you are aged 65 and above you will require a doctor’s signature confirming your fitness to participate in this experience.
- You must be able to climb up the aircraft to the top wing where the rig is fixed (about 10 feet).
- Your weight must be under 89kgs (14stone) (with clothes & shoes on)
- The maximum height of a person taking part is 6ft 2inches (189cm)
You will be required to sign a declaration of fitness at the briefing.
- If you suffer from high blood pressure, epilepsy, fainting, blackouts / dizziness, heart, or lung disease you cannot participate. If your medical condition is being managed; you may be able to participate. You should discuss this with your GP / Consultant and you will be required to provide proof of this before you fly.
- If you suffer from drug or alcohol addiction, mental health issues, or are pregnant you will not be able to participate.
