Would you like to combine one of the most exhilarating experiences you’ve ever had with raising vital funds to support patients and staff across NHS services in Somerset and Love Musgrove?

A tandem skydive promises to be one of the most exciting and breath-taking experiences you will ever have. Take to the skies for a 10,000ft or 15,000ft tandem skydive at our drop zone with views over the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.

We are delighted to have partnered with GoSkyDive, who are the specialists for first-time tandem skydivers are. Their state-of-the-art facilities are based at: Salisbury Skydive centre at Old Sarum airfield, Old Sarum Park, Old Sarum, Salisbury SP4 6EB

They have the best of the best when it comes to our jump team. There aren’t many people out there who get to do something they love day in day out! They’re here to support you every step of the way

Who Can Participate?

• You need to be at least 16 years old to do a tandem skydive, if you are aged between 16 and 18 you will need a parent or legal guardian to sign to give their consent. There is no upper age limit to skydiving, so as long as you’re reasonably fit and healthy then there should be no problem with you tandem skydiving with us!
• You must be of reasonable fitness. You need to complete the required medical form which can be found on the  Pre Skydive Checklist
• If you have any medical conditions, you must consult your GP to sign and stamp the British Skydiving medical form which can also be found on the  Pre Skydive Checklist
• The maximum weight for a tandem student is 18 stone (114kg) fully clothed with weight being in proportion to height. If you are between 15 (95kg) and 18 stone, you will need to contact GoSkyDive in advance to check your suitability to jump.

Event Details

You can choose your own date and time to jump to suit you (weather permitting) and  can choose between either a 10,000ft or 15,000ft jump when you book:

10,000ft – Registration fee is £50 with a minimum sponsorship of £350

15,000ft – Registration fee is £50 with a minimum sponsorship of £450

Please note your registration fee is non-refundable.

GoSkydive acts as an intermediary between yourself as the skydiver and the British Skydiving, providing you with temporary membership to the British Skydiving and 3rdparty insurance.

Joining Instructions

Begin your Skydive fundraising journey by following these 2 simple steps:

1. To sign up for your skydive, please visit GoSkyDive  and click Charity Skydive. You can then find us in the charity section by searching for Somerset NHS Charity. Click choose your jump date. Your arrival time will be emailed to you once your booking is confirmed.
2. Set up your JustGiving Fundraising page to achieve your minimum sponsorship of either £350 or £450, depending on which jump you have selected to do. If you wish to raise funds for a particular ward or department within the hospital, please state in the description section of your JustGiving page. If you are entering a team for the Skydive, you can set up one online JustGiving page but set your minimum fundraising target for the number of people in your team (e.g.10,000ft 2 x £350, a minimum fundraising target of £700).

Once you are registered, the brilliant team at GoSkyDive will be in touch, plus a member of the fundraising team from Love Musgrove will be on hand to help with your fundraising.
