Love Musgrove and Hope for Tomorrow are thrilled to announce that we will be attending Glastonbury Festival at the end of June. We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Festival’s organisers for letting us come along, and giving us the chance to talk about our causes with a national audience.
Hope for Tomorrow will be bringing to light how their work supports cancer patients up and down the country, and how Festival goers can support work local to them. They’ll have a great selection of festival appropriate gear to be bought, with all the proceeds supporting mobile cancer treatment units.
Love Musgrove, the official charity of Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton will be talking to Festival Goers about the work of local NHS Charities, and how they can get involved and support one closest to them. We will also be chatting about the nursing profession, routes of entry and support available, and having some fun whilst we cover the long history of nurses.
We’re looking for old medical uniforms to give those who come to visit us the opportunity to see themselves dressed as professionals from different eras. If you have any old uniforms you’d be happy for us to take to Glastonbury, then please get in touch too.
If you are able to support with prizes or uniforms, please drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01823 344437. Keep an eye on Love Musgrove’s social media over the last week of June, to see what we get up to at the Festival. Twitter: @lovemusgrove Instagram: @lovemusgrove1059922
